Ever since I was a very small child, reading and books have been my biggest interest. I have spent years talking to anyone who will listen, about my favorite books or my passion for reading and writing.

Coming from the literary community in Denver to rural Oklahoma left a hole in my heart. I missed the community that a group of writers and readers creates. There is nothing like being in a room of like minded people that JUST GET IT and can talk books and writing with a ferocious intensity.

Through a little research, I quickly found that this is a vibrant literary state! That longing for community could be easily corrected!

I chose to put this site together in response to that hole in my heart. Tulsa has an incredible writing community but it is too far away to be traveled to regularly for writing groups and author events if you live in the western half of the state. In an effort to build the community I have missed and help Central and Western Oklahoma have better access, I have built this site to help authors and readers connect.
