Galentine’s Day with Love Stories OKC

When I first started this website, it was out of a compulsive need to organize the literary scene in Oklahoma. Frankly, it was overwhelming. This state is SO ACTIVE. It quickly morphed into a desire to highlight all the best things for readers and authors alike.

One of the best things is the sheer amount of events that we have going on! Any day of the week, you can find a signing, a fun book club, a craft night, and so much more.

This weekend I went to Love Stories OKC for their Galentine’s Event! My book friend and I had a blast. If you haven't been to Love Stories, it is a must see. The back half of the shop is wedding dresses and prom dresses, while the front half is the coziest little Romance only bookstore.

They feature a ton of local creators and authors as well as new and used books from all over. You know those little 3D printed dragons, the cutest things ever created? Yeah, they have them in every color…..Trust me I spent too many minutes pawing through the jars to find my favorite and still couldn't decide! They also carry a wide array of blind date with a book, and mystery swag boxes from all kinds of local authors and creators!

From cupcakes to wine, lipstick, and freshies, there was a little bit of something for everyone. Well done Love Stories OKC! Thanks for the fun weekend and the opportunity to meet my online book friend in real life!
